Cassette Beasts on Switch to Receive Multiplayer Update for Co-op Raids and PvP Battles

Nintendo Switch players who are fans of the Poku00e9mon-inspired RPG Cassette Beasts are in for a treat as developer Bytten Studio has announced a major update coming to the game on May 20, 2024. The update will introduce multiplayer functionality, allowing players to team up with up to eight friends to explore the world, battle against each other, and customize their battling experience with their own set of rules.

During a recent Cassette Beasts Showcase, Bytten Studio revealed that players will be able to join a “Play With Friends” mode where they can match with anyone on their friends list via an invite code. Additionally, players can challenge their friends in PvP battles and assign custom rules to their battles, such as enabling or disabling sticker attributes. The update will also include 2-player co-op raids against Rogue Fusions and the ability to trade tapes with each other.

In addition to the multiplayer update, Cassette Beasts will also be collaborating with Moonstone Island starting on the same date. Players will have the opportunity to collect themed items within the game, adding a new level of customization and excitement to the gameplay experience.
