Nintendo Announces Tetris 99 Maximus Cup Featuring Princess Peach: Showtime! Theme

Nintendo has announced the launch of the Tetris 99 Maximus Cup, featuring a special Princess Peach: Showtime! theme. The event, which began on April 5th and will run until April 8th, allows players to unlock a theme based on the new title, complete with themed background art, music, and Tetrimino designs.

In order to participate in the event, players must have an active Switch Online subscription. Once they have accumulated a total of 100 event points, the new theme will unlock, providing a fresh and exciting gaming experience inspired by Princess Peach: Showtime!

The announcement comes after an update to Tetris 99 last month, which introduced new features and improvements to the popular game. Players who have not yet tried out Princess Peach’s new outing on the Switch can download a demo from the eShop to get a taste of the action.
