Lunar Lander: Beyond Launch Trailer Takes Players on an Adventure in Space

Atari and Dreams Uncorporated have recently released a new trailer for their latest game, Lunar Lander: Beyond, which has just launched on the Nintendo Switch. The game is described as an “adventure meets simulation” experience, where players take on the role of a captain in the Pegasus corporation.

In Lunar Lander: Beyond, players must guide a team of colorful pilots, advisors, and state-of-the-art landers through a series of challenging missions. These missions include delivering cargo, retrieving resources, and rescuing stranded pilots in a mysterious universe of moons and planets.

The game promises a deep campaign with 30 missions across five different locations, including Nueva Luna, Mars, Venus, Ganymede, and the mysterious planet Etimus. Players can also expect four difficulty levels, with the highest level, “insane,” featuring permadeath.

One of the key features of Lunar Lander: Beyond is its beautiful hand-drawn art style, creating a luxurious sci-fi landscape for players to explore. The game also offers customization options, with countless pilot choices, procedurally generated characters, four unique ships, and a dozen upgrades to equip.

However, players must be careful to manage their crew’s stress levels, as rising stress can lead to hallucinations and space madness. This adds an extra layer of challenge to the game, as players must keep their wits about them to succeed in their missions.

Lunar Lander: Beyond is now available for purchase both physically and digitally on the Nintendo Switch. Players can dive into this immersive space adventure and experience the thrill of exploring new planets and uncovering sinister truths hidden in the universe.
