Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered Confirmed for Nintendo Switch in 2024
Grasshopper Manufacturer has announced that the cult classic game Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered will be making its way to the Nintendo Switch in 2024. Originally released in 2011, the game was written by the renowned game designer Suda51, known for his work on titles like No More Heroes and Killer7, and produced by Shinji Mikami, a veteran of the Resident Evil series.
The game follows the story of Garcia Hotspur, a Mexican demon hunter on a mission to save his girlfriend Paula from the clutches of the evil Lord of Demons. Players will embark on a hot-blooded, hellishly twisted, feverishly filthy road trip through the Underworld alongside Garcia and his skeletal companion, Johnson. Using the powers of light and dark, players must navigate fiendishly funky dungeons and battle demons to rescue Paula.
Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered is currently playable for attendees at PAX West in Seattle, giving fans a sneak peek at the updated version of the game. While the original game was published by EA for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, the remastered version for the Switch will not involve EA.
Industry legends Goichi Suda and Shinji Mikami have crafted this third-person shooter, promising a unique and creative gaming experience for players. Fans can expect more details on the release date and price of Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered in the coming weeks and months.
